It’s Delicious – When you visit Thailand for the first time, you may be hesitant about trying food that is prepared on the street. Coming from a western country, we tend not to be accustomed to eating from vendors on the street, but it is normal in Thailand.

Thai street food is world-renowned for a reason and many western countries are trying to copy the taste. Thai street food is unique, and it tastes incredible. When you grab your phone and look for the best place to eat in Bangkok street food, you will be presented with an endless list of options.

It’s Safe – If you have never eaten street food and you are worried about hygiene, there is nothing to worry about in Thailand. All you have to do is look around and you will see streets full of stalls all selling some of the most famous Thai dishes around. If the food were not safe, do you think the locals would be eating it? Find a popular place and eat where the Thais eat.

It’s Inexpensive – One of the best things about Thai street food is the price. You can buy lots of tasty dishes that cost next to nothing. One US dollar or Euro can get you a meal and dessert, how far would you get with that amount of money in your own country?

It’s Surprising – Every city is different, and every region has its own unique dishes and flavours. Some will surprise you as their specialties bring flavours like no other. There is always something new to try in each part of the country.

As you can see, there are many good reasons to eat Thai street food. Just sitting by the side of the road and enjoying the sounds of the city is an experience in itself. One of the highlights of your travels to Thailand will be the cuisine and you should never miss the chance to sample Thai street food.
